Another ball that Dakota loves is the Fetch 'N Flash Ball by Sargent's Zoink! toys. It's his second favorite ball after the orange Hucky ball. We alternate throwing the Hucky and Fetch 'N Flash ball for him.
The Fetch 'N Flash ball is a red plastic ball with a light inside of it. When you throw the ball, it flashes a light. It is a great ball if you're playing nighttime catch with your dog. The light will make it easily accessible to find.
Dakota will usually have this ball for several months before he manages to break it. We have gone through about four of these balls in about two years. The first thing that breaks is the inside flasher light. That doesn't last very long. When this breaks the ball is still usable to play catch with. It just doesn't flash any longer. After a while his constant gnawing on the ball eventually breaks it in half. It is made with a seam around the middle, so this is where it usually splits in half. Unless it is a defective ball, it does hold well, so it takes months for him to actually break it. For some reason he loves this ball, so it does bring him hours of daily fun!
